Toronto Blue Jays 7-6 Texas Rangers
In a series that saw so many home runs, it’s only fitting that the final run would be scored via a fielder’s choice. With one out and two on in the bottom of the tenth, Russell Martin grounded to Texas Rangers’ shortstop, Elvis Andrus who threw to second for the 6-4 putout. Rougned Odor’s throw to first got away from Mitch Moreland, allowing Josh Donaldson to score the winning run all the way from second.
The Toronto Blue Jays await the winner of the Red Sox/Indians series.
