Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has been diagnosed with a concussion, potentially causing him to miss the season opener against the Washington Capitals.
Crosby sat out the Penguins final preseason game due to sickness and was not at practice this morning. He will undergo a full battery of tests to determine the severity of the concussion and the team will update his status closer to game day.
