Foles will be starting in place of Alex Smith, who left last week’s game on two separate occasions to be tested for a concussion. Smith did not return after the second test.
Foles has not started a game since 2015 when he was a member of the Saint Louis Rams. He posted a 4-7 record through 11 starts, throwing 7 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
