Latavius Murray Downgraded to Doubtful

Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray has been downgraded to “Doubtful” for Sunday’s matchup against the San Diego Chargers. Murray injured his foot in last week’s win over the Baltimore Ravens and has been seen in a walking boot for much of the week, calling into question his ability to play on Sunday.

If Murray does miss the game, it appears that the Raiders will be relying on a pair of rookies to get the job done. DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard will likely split time in the backfield. Richard burst onto the scene, scoring a 75 yard touchdown on his first carry in the league – and has since maintained a 4.3 YPC average on 16 carries.
