Jets Plan to Place Decker on IR

The New York Jets announced on Wednesday that they will be placing wide receiver Eric Decker on IR with a torn rotator cuff.

The injury is severe enough to require surgery, which means Decker will miss the remainder of the 2016 season as he recovers. The loss of Decker puts even more pressure on WR Brandon Marshall to perform. Over the last three games, which include the game Decker was injured and the two he sat out, Marshall has been targeted 40 times.  With the Jets passing offense already struggling (17th in the league), this loss comes as a huge blow.
