Our Favorite Games of Week Three

Week three of the NFL season is here, and while there are a few good match-ups, unless you’re a fan of a particular team, there’s a lot of ho-hum nonsense. Sure, we have the Texans at New England in a battle of undefeateds, but without Jimmy G starting, it’s like why even bother?

In the 1:00 ET slot, we have the Denver Broncos visiting the Bengals. The Denver defense has looked solid on its way to a 2-0 start. The Bengals offense has looked just kinda decent. The only reason this is one of our favorite games is because it features two playoff teams from a year ago.

Also in the 1:00 slot is the Vikings at Carolina Panthers. This is another match-up between two playoff teams from last year and the Vikings will be out to prove that their defense deserves some attention. Cam Newton hopes to build on last week’s performance that saw the Panthers score 46 points.

Moving to the afternoon, and the 4:25 kickoffs, we have the Steelers traveling to meet the Eagles in another battle of unbeatens. This will be Philly’s first true test of the season, so if you’re in the area grab some Eagles / Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets and watch the game.

Lastly, we move to Monday Night and an 8:30 pm kickoff. This game features Atlanta and New Orleans in what is destined to be a complete shootout. Neither team plays particularly good defense but both teams can move the football on just about anyone. Plus it’s in a dome which always means high scoring. Monday Night games have been awful this year, and even though neither team is very good – it should be entertaining at worst.
