Kevin Durant made his decision to join the Golden State Warriors on July 5, 2016. Now more than three months later, players are still chiming in on his decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder and sign with the team that knocked him out of the Western Conference Finals.
Paul Pierce was the latest to chime in with his thoughts, throwing shade at KD (and most of the NBA for that matter).

I could have left Boston years ago, but I stuck it out. I just feel like when you’re that close as a competitor, you don’t go join the team that pushed you out. That’s just me personally but we’re living in a day and time where there’s a new generation. Guys I don’t think they are as hungry or competitive as my generation was, and that’s why you’ll probably see more of that.”

Interesting to note that a big part of why Paul Pierce was able to win championships with the Boston Celtics was because Ray Allen left the Seattle Supersonics and Kevin Garnett left the Minnesota Timberwolves.
