List of NBA Champions by Year

Each year, the Western Conference Champion and the Eastern Conference Champion meet in a best of seven series to determine who will bear the title of NBA Champion for the year.  Currently, the Eastern Conference has produced the champion 34 times, where the Western Conference has sent the winner 28 times.  In recent years, however, the Western Conference has shown slightly more dominance, winning 10 out of the last 13 championships.  The two teams with the most NBA Championships are the Boston Celtics (17) and the Lost Angeles Lakers (15).

Betway, a bookmakers and online casino are giving some of the best odds available to win the NBA Championship this year with Miami Heat favourites at 1.9 to 1 with Oklahoma City Thunder next at 4.50 to 1 and the outside favourite San Antonio Spurs currently sitting at 7 to 1.
