2015 World Series Overview

The Kansas City Royals defeated the New York Mets four games to one. This was the first time since 2010 that the World Series featured a game played in November – most years the series wraps up by October.  Mets Pitcher Jeurys Familia became the first pitcher ever to blow three saves in a single World Series, the last of which eventually led to the Royals 2015 World Series Victory. Royals catcher, Salvador Perez, was unanimously named the World Series MVP.
