Jays Plate 10 en-Route to Thrashing of Rangers

This series was expected to produce fireworks, but nobody could have predicted that the Toronto Blue Jays would light up the Texas Rangers quite like this.

Rangers starter Cole Hamels lasted just 3.1 innings, giving up six hits and seven runs, while his counterpart, Marco Estrada nearly went the distance, giving up only one run over 8.1 innings.

The game was over by the third inning, when the Jays plated five runs in the top of the frame, which included a three-run triple by Troy Tulowitzki.

The scoring for the Jays was capped by a three-run homer by Jose Bautista.

The Rangers will try to even the series on Friday, as they send Yu Darvish to face J.A. Happ
